          Imotski is a small town in the Split-Dalmatia region of southern Croatia, located in the Dalmatian hinterland. The town is known for its striking Blue Lake, a sinkhole filled with turquoise water surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs. Visitors hike around the lake, explore the nearby Red Lake, and wander the historic Old Town with its traditional stone architecture and defensive walls.
          Imotski is a historic town in Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia, situated at approximately 270 metres above sea level in the karst highlands of the Dalmatian hinterland. It lies roughly 90 kilometres east of Split and 70 kilometres from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is best known for the adjacent Modro jezero (Blue Lake) and Crveno jezero (Red Lake), two of the most geologically significant karst sinkholes in the eastern Adriatic region.
