          Teror is a historic village in Gran Canaria, an island in Spain's Canary Islands archipelago off the northwest coast of Africa. The village is characterized by its traditional Canarian colonial architecture, wooden balconies, and the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pine. Visitors walk through narrow cobblestone streets, explore local crafts, and sample traditional almond marzipan and local cheeses at the weekend market.
          Teror is a municipality in the north-central interior of Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain, situated at approximately 543 metres above sea level and 21 kilometres from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is officially recognised as one of the most historically and architecturally significant inland towns on the island, serving as a major religious centre for the archipelago through its custody of the Virgen del Pino, patron saint of Gran Canaria.
