          Embonas is a village located on the island of Rhodes in Greece, situated in the southeastern Aegean Sea region.           Embonas is a mountain village on the Greek island of Rhodes, located approximately 65 kilometres southwest of Rhodes Town on the northwestern slopes of Mount Attavyros, the island's highest peak at 1,215 metres. It is the primary wine-producing settlement on Rhodes, home to established wineries including Emery and CAIR, and sits within the regional unit of Rhodes in the South Aegean administrative region of Greece.
