Stemnitsa is a traditional mountain village in the Peloponnese region of southern Greece, located in the Arcadia prefecture. Perched at high altitude, it features stone architecture, narrow winding streets, and a working water-mill dating to the Ottoman period. Visitors explore the village on foot, visit its small Byzantine churches, and experience rural Greek hospitality in traditional tavernas.

The village is recognized by the Greek Ministry of Culture for its outstanding architectural and cultural heritage, encompassing over 40 Byzantine-era churches, a functioning vocational school of goldsmithing and silversmithing with origins in the 17th century, and direct access to the Lousios Gorge trail network linking ancient Gortys, Philosophos Monastery, and Prodromou Monastery.
