Skógafoss ist ein kraftvoller Wasserfall im südlichen Island, Teil der Region South Coast. Skogafoss is located in the Rangárþing eystra municipality of southern Iceland, approximately 150 kilometres southeast of Reykjavik along Route 1 (the Ring Road). It sits at the base of the former sea cliffs that once marked Iceland's ancient coastline, fed by meltwater from the Eyjafjallajokull and Myrdalsjokull glaciers via the Skoga River. The site falls within a broader South Coast corridor recognised for its exceptional concentration of natural and cultural heritage landmarks.
