Saint Severina is a small medieval commune in the Province of Crotone, Calabria, southern Italy, positioned on an isolated volcanic tuff plateau approximately 400 metres above the Neto River valley. The site has been continuously inhabited since pre-Greek times and preserves stratified evidence of Byzantine, Norman, Swabian, and Aragonese occupation.
