Consuegra is a municipality in the province of Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha, central Spain, situated on the northern edge of the La Mancha plain at approximately 700 metres above sea level. The Cerro Calderico ridge, which bears the town's twelve restored windmills and tenth-century Arab castle, is recognised as one of the defining landscapes of the Don Quixote literary tradition and is a protected cultural heritage site within the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha.
