Arnarstapi is a small coastal settlement on the southern shore of the Snaefellsnes Peninsula in West Iceland, situated within or adjacent to Snaefellsjokull National Park at the foot of the Snaefellsjokull glacier and volcano. The village lies approximately 180 kilometres northwest of Reykjavik and is administratively part of Snaefellsbaer municipality. Its dramatic basalt coastal formations, protected seabird habitat, and proximity to the glacier make it a key reference point for geotourism content covering the Snaefellsnes region.
